DRAGON EXPRESS

Dragon Express receives and distributes all USPS mail and packages, UPS, Fed Ex and DHL for students. We are located in the basement of Hunt Union.

Other Dragon Express Services Include:

  • Mail and package shipping via UPS, Fed Ex or USPS
  • Packaging supplies
  • Copy and fax services
  • Postage stamps

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to utilize Dragon Express Services for both personal business and for their departments. Take advantage of the very low NYS contract UPS shipping rates!

pick up

Students will receive an e-mail from Dragon Express when their package is ready to be picked up. Please do not come up to Dragon Express until you receive this e-mail! You should receive this e-mail within 24 hours of your package showing as delivered by the carrier/vendor. If it has been more than 24 hours, please email e-mail us with your tracking information so we can help you locate it.

Please follow the instructions within the e-mail to pick up your item. Double check your clutter and/or junk email files! There will be e-mails from Dragon Express directly when you have any item to pick up from the window. Students must present Student ID or Driver’s License to pick up their mail and package(s) at the counter. When you have an item in the Intelligent Lockers, the e-mail notification will be from support@luxerone.com. Any questions or issues with items in the lockers should be emailed to Dragonexpress@oneonta.edu.

Lokcers

We now have Luxer One Intelligent Lockers so students can pick up their items whenever Hunt Union is open. You will receive a one time access code and QR code in an email to enter at the locker kiosk and retrieve your package.

Download the Luxer One mobile app to skip the kiosk and open the locker with your app! You will also be notified through the app when you have an item in the locker ready for pick up.

The e-mail notification when you have an item in the locker will be from support@luxerone.com. Please check your junk/clutter e-mails for this e-mail!

You have 48 hours to pick up your package from the locker! You will get a reminder e-mail after 24 hours! After 48 hours, you will be notified by Dragon Express that your item can be picked up from the window. If isn't picked up within 3 more business days it will be returned to the sender!

Packages will be returned to sender if they are not picked up in 5 business days. To make other arrangements for your package if you can't pick it up within 5 business days, please contact us as soon as you receive the e-mail. We can forward packages that are shipped via USPS at no charge. You have to pay to forward a package that arrived via UPS, FedEx or DHL.

All first-class mail can be picked up at Dragon Express. Students will receive an e-mail from Dragon Express when they have mail to be picked up. If students are no longer residing on campus, their mail will be returned to the sender.

Students have been assigned a unique Dragon number as their mailing address that they will have for their career at SUNY Oneonta. To find your unique Dragon number, log into myOneonta, go to Web Services then Personal & User Information then View address and phone. It can also be found on the campus directory.

To ensure timely delivery of your mail, please use the following format:

Student Name as registered (Middle Initial is helpful)

Outgoing mail and packages, including intracampus mail, can be dropped off to Dragon Express. FedEx is picked up Monday through Friday at 12 p.m. USPS and UPS pick up Monday through Friday at 2:45 p.m.

There is a blue dropbox near the bus stop on West Dormitory Road that Campus Mail Services picks up Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. Faculty, staff and students can use this for intracampus mail, stamped USPS mail, outgoing department mail, packages with prepaid labels for UPS, FedEx and USPS.

Gather as much information about the missing piece of mail or package (such as tracking number, how it was addressed, who it was from) and then contact Dragon Express to help locate your missing package. Please double check your junk/clutter e-mails to make sure you didn't miss an email from Luxer One or Dragon Express.
