SUNY Oneonta's College in High School partnerships are an affordable, convenient way for high school students to get a head start on college!
We offer a variety of college-level courses through partnerships with more than 30 school districts across New York State, with new partnerships in development all the time. We also provide pre-engineering and healthcare professions courses through the Otsego Northern Catskill BOCES New Visions programs.
High school teachers can teach courses right in their high schools, or through distance learning as part of their school day. SUNY Oneonta faculty members provide academic support, and our ExCL Center provides organizational assistance.
The cost of $150 for a three-credit course and $200 for a four-credit course is significantly lower than the cost of taking a course at most public and private schools, making this a very affordable way for students to challenge themselves, while earning credits before even beginning college. SUNY Oneonta’s high school partnerships allow and encourage students to explore academic interests and develop the skills to be successful in college and life.
